What happens when I import a local repo?

Conveyor gives you two options when importing a repo to create a new project. You can choose to use your repo in its current location or create a copy. If you choose to use the current repo, Conveyor adds a new remote that points to our Git hosting service and moves your Git hooks to a new location. Other than that it leaves the repo as it is and your existing workflow(s) should fully work.

Your second option is to create a copy of your existing repo into Conveyor’s default location (~/conveyor). This allows you to try out Conveyor without affecting your current work.
